The Run Show USA is owned and managed by Raccoon Events Inc.

What information we collect

We collect information about you, such as name and contact details, when you register with us or place an order for products or services.

When you sign up for our events, apart from the contact details required for the registration, we ask you a number of questions relating to you and your experience with the event industry. The data we collect is entirely anonymized and then may be passed to selected third parties to improve your future experiences with our events.

We also collect information when you complete customer surveys, provide feedback, participate in competitions, or sign up for our newsletters. We will only collect sufficient information for completion of the task.

Security of Information

We store any personal data collected via secure means, using secured (HTTPS only) connections. All personal data is kept under secure conditions for 7 years, after which it will be securely destroyed.

Sharing your information

To deliver our events, we share data (including contact details) of various 3rd parties, including (but limited to) exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and suppliers on a secure platform. No personal attendee data is shared.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to process your order and sign you up for our event. If you consent we will email you about the event or other events and services we think may be of interest to you.

Photography

By attending the show as a visitor, exhibitor, sponsor or member of the press you may be photographed and these photographs may be used for editorial and/or advertising purposes. The copyright of the photos will remain with the photographer. Please note that as the event is a large public gathering and as many people will be using smart phones and social media, as organizers we do not take liability for images taken within the event. However, if you have any concerns then we advise that you contact our team.

Visitors attending our events

If you are visiting one of our events and are given a badge with a barcode or contactless technology, you will be notified at the point of registration. Please understand that by choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker when at the event, you will be providing the exhibitor, sponsor or speaker with your personal data.

Access to your information and correction

Ambassadors

Ambassadors consent to the holding of their personal data, including allergy information, which is sensitive information and the use of their image on the website. As with any consent it can be withdrawn at any time.

Raccoon Events Ltd will not share your information for marketing purposes with other companies.

In dealing with financial transactions, we may be required to send your details to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.
