On September 11, 2005, Aaron became the worlds 1st Insulin Dependent African American
Diabetic to complete the Ironman Triathlon. Today, he remains the only African American
Diabetic to complete the worlds most grueling endurance event.

Aaron is President of Rebalanced-Life Wellness Association (RLWA), whose overarching
goal is ensuring that African American men and boys living in under-represented
communities who bear the heaviest burden of disease and poor health status, can live fuller

National Recognition
Aaron opened the nation’s first Men’s Health & Education Center located inside the City of
Madison largest Black Barbershop. He received national recognition on the Megyn Kelly

Aaron’s organization (RLWA) was recently awarded the State of Wisconsin most
Innovative Non-Profit Organization of the Year in 2018.
