Hello! I’m Allison, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, licensed in Illinois) who is Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and a level 1 RRCA running coach who helps endurance athletes – like runners and triathletes – improve their nutrition to support their workouts and achieve peak performance. I’m passionate about helping athletes learn the vital role nutrition plays in not only achieving but smashing their personal records/bests. As a runner myself, I’ve learned firsthand how important what I eat is for getting the most out of my own training and I take that personal experience and apply it to the clients I work with so that they see results for themselves. My favorite distance to race is the marathon and I’ve run 19 since 2008 – including 1 in just under 3 hours and 1 at 13 weeks pregnant. I’m also a frequent pacer of races in the Chicago-land area. When I’m not running/working you can most likely find me in the kitchen as I love cooking, at a brewery trying out local craft beers, or going for long walks with my husband, daughter and 100lb dog Layla.
