Ramon Bermo

Ramon Bermo is the American Cancer Society’s Director of Development – Endurance for the Northeast region and has been working in the non-profit endurance events field for the last 24 years.

Bermo works with some of the largest running events in the US and around the world to provide a fun and meaningful experience to those who choose to make their miles more meaningful by fundraising towards the American Cancer Society’s mission. An athlete himself for 44 years, Bermo and has competed in and completed in hundreds of endurance events including 95 marathons, 13 ironmans, and many ultramarathons spanning up to 240 miles.  In September he completed the Tor des Geants 330 km trail race in the Italian Alps.
Over his career, Bermo, who particularly likes working with first time runners, has coached thousands of athletes and his role with the American Cancer Society fulfills his passion for the sport and his personal mission to making the world a better place.

As Bermo says, “You have miles and then you have meaningful miles, I am always driven to the latter.”
