I started running in 2011/2012🏃🏽. I used to hate running , yeah I know doesn’t seem like that now . In 2011, I started my first 5K at North Avenue Beach 🏖 called Beachpalooza. I didn’t train and let me tell you I paid for it after that and told myself I’d never do another race 😂.
2012, I needed to stay active so I entered another fun race 5K and later 10K, then half marathon, and eventually ventured off into marathons.
Here I am now ; 15 half marathons and 6 full marathons under my belt ,still counting.My goal was to get into ultra running and I have done 2 challenges thus far with 2 Marathons and a 50K this fall . I have learned to #NeverSayNever and be limitless.
I always doubted myself but took the turn to stop the self-doubt and don’t run away from challenges. This year , to say the least is challenging, but let’s stay active, positive , and motivated rather you walk,jog, run, or bike staying consistent is key , but make it fun.
