Jeff Davis is a Chicago-born, Boston resident who has committed to living a life as an advocate of truth, justice, and equity for all. Jeff founded the Boston Chapter of Black Men Run to create a healthy community that enriches the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of all Black Men. Black Men Run Boston (BMR) started in August, 2020 and has since grown to 25 members and over 900 social media followers.
Professionally, Jeff is a people & culture professional focused on maximizing the human experience in working environments. Currently working as a People Business Partner with a portfolio of 280 people for a national education reform non-profit. He believes in the exponential potential of all persons to achieve incredible outcomes, if allowed to be their most authentic selves. He supports operations capacity, team growth strategy, and technology implementation amongst other areas.
Personally, Jeff is a loving partner of 10 years’ of marriage and the parent of two beautiful young boys. He is a blerd who believes in Black heroes, sharing more BIPOC stories; runs for the joy and pain of it and finds balance via yoga and therapy. He runs every Saturday with his brothers at BMR Boston.
