An Englishman living in New Haven, CT, USA, I’ve crossed the Sahara in the famous Marathon des Sables and been part of a team to be the first to cross 100 mile long Frozen Lake Khovsghol in Mongolia. I’ve also been lucky enough to be a Rat Race Test Pilot for up and coming races and adventures on their Bucket List Series.
From attempting the UK Wife Carrying Race and Beer mile to running a Centurion 100 mile trail race in 2015 I try and balance the insane distance with insane fun. I once unintentionally qualified for the World Obstacle Race Championships in Canada to represent team UK and hold a 1186th world ranking.
I currently hold rather a lot of trail records, most by accident, some from purpose. From 625 miles in the UK I was also the first person to ever through hike the 225 mile New England Trail.
